The 2008 event will be very special as it is the tenth year of the show. It has continued to grow and become one of the most popular and successful events in the area, resulting in record-breaking attendances last year.

All profits are distributed to charities that benefit the local area and local community projects.

Attractions in the main arena this year include:

     ·        The Sheep Show

·        Hawksdrift Falconry

·        The RAF Lyneham Police Dogs Display Team

·        Vintage & Classic tractors and farm machinery

·        Carriage Driving Display

·        Vintage & Classic cars and motorcycles

·        White Horse Kite Flyers

Around the showground there will be much more to intrigue and entertain the whole family.

A favourite of many visitors is the Produce and Handicraft Marquee where entries from all ages and abilities are exhibited and later auctioned. These items show skills in photography, baking, gardening and other handiwork. Another regular attraction is the Poultry Show promoting different pure breeds.

Schedules detailing the classes for the Produce and Handicraft is available here.

Please note: This year, the poultry display will be an exhibition and not a show.

Other fun-packed activities will return this year. There will be the chance to try angling, kite-flying and quad-biking or to watch Punch & Judy, Morris Men and craft demonstrators.

You can also enjoy the nostalgic sound and smell of steam alongside the reassuring beat of the preserved stationary engines and the gleaming collection of polished cars, motorcycles and tractors.

All attractions provide enjoyment for all ages

A selection of refreshments, including a bar and Hog Roast, will be available all day.
